Hemlock Hill Outside Dining
Hemlock Hill Cottage has a lovely view of the lake from its decks. A winding footpath leads from the cottage to the lake’s edge where guests will find a private dock on deep water that allows for great swimming, fishing and boating, a canoe for exploring the lake and its waterfalls, and a hammock that provides for peaceful reading and napping lakeside.
The cottage is furnished with an air of a rustic, romantic getaway for two, but with its 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a sleeping loft, it is equally ideal for the whole family. The living room area features a stone fireplace, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and satellite television.

The first floor consists of the main living area, a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, and a sleeping loft with twin beds. The loft is accessed by a wall ladder, so it is best saved for use by children.

The downstairs level has a bedroom with twin beds, a full bath, a laundry room and a large master bedroom. The master bedroom includes a king bed, a sitting area, a wet bar and a peaceful lake view from its screened porch.

All towels and linens are provided. The cottage kitchen is small, but fully equipped with important items including a dishwasher and a microwave. The deck offers dining al fresco with great views and occasional visits from resident Hummingbirds and Finches.

What a wonderful way to start the New Year! Even though it was winter we had pleanty to keep us busy. We hiked and saw beautiful waterfalls. We canoed in the lake, went skiing in Maggie Valle and snow tubing at Sapphire Valley. At the end of everyday, we came back to the comfort of Hemlock Hill Cottage.
